Come on in!
Welcome to your First Tribe Immunity Challenge!
This challenge is called...
The Auction
And here is how it works...
Paradise is not always what it seems, hardships are found in each corner of the beach, so it is important to make sure your tribe is well equipped for your stay.
For that reason, we are conducting an auction where each tribe will be able to purchase the items they need.
The winner of this challenge will be the two tribes with the most points.
The Auction will take place tomorrow Monday, October 3rd at 9:30pm EST.
Each tribe will send three buyers to the auction. Each tribe will have $150 to spend at the auction.
Production will randomize the order in which the tribes will take turn bidding on the items below. The order will remain the same, except each round the next tribe in line will start the bidding.
For example, if the order is Benji, Ashley and Robbie. Benji will start the bidding for the first item, Ashley for the second item, and Robbie for the third item, and so on. The order in which the three buyers from each tribe will bid will be decided by them, but it will be on an item by item basis, as opposed to bid by bid basis - meaning if the order is X, Y, Z, then X will make all the bids, if any, for item 1 for that tribe.
It is the bid of the buyer whose turn it is that will be considered binding and official.
All bids must be in whole dollars, no cents allowed.
Quick Example
If Benji bids $5 on the first item, Ashley then will need to decide whether to bid or not to bid. If Ashley decides to not bid, she will then not be able to bid on this item later on, and we move on to Robbie. If Robbie bids $7, then Benji can either bid again, or let the item go to Robbie for $7. If Benji bids $10, then we go to Robbie again since Ashley cannot bid for this item. This continues until we have a winning bid.
If no one bids on an item, the item is discarded and no one can buy it.
Items Auctioned
Each item that is up for auction has a point value attached to it; some even have effects on other items. At the end of the auction (either when all tribes are out of money, or there are no more items left) the two tribes with the most points will win immunity and be safe from tribal council. If there is a tie, first we will look at number of items purchased, the tied tribe with the most items will win, if there is still a tie, then the tied tribe with the most money left in their pocket wins.
The following is the list of items that will be up for auction and the amount of points that corresponds to that item. Please note that the items will be auctioned in this exact order.
Items marked with "(c)" are clothing items.
Please message production if you have any questions.
*All 3 buyers need to be on camera at all times.
*Players that are not buyers can observe and message the buyers, but it is the buyers that will participate in the auction.
*Only the bid of the buyer whose turn it is will count.
*All bids are final, once it has been made it cannot be taken back.
